I KILLED YOU WITH LOVE

You died, forever
the day you drank from the well
of my scarified heart

You thought it was sweet
You thought it was wine
You thought it was forgiveness

You died. You died forever
When you put the nipples of my love
to your lips and drank

Like a greedy child, you drank
I let you get drunk. Like a mosquito
you sucked and got fat, helpless

Then you died, slowly
as I let my well run dry
You died, thirsting for my poison

You died of thirst
and I watched, smiling
I killed you with love!
